The Park at Hope Crossing, Oklahoma City, OK

  Hope Crossing is a new neighborhood in Northeast Oklahoma City which includes 240 homes built by Habitat for Humanity. CLS & Associates was contacted to provide design services to design a neighborhood park within the development. A rendered plan was prepared to assist with funding solicitation and to further detail the development of the 2.2 acre park. The park includes a large multi-purpose play field with a baseball backstop, a quarter-mile of walking trails which wind around the park through shade and ornamental trees, and exercise workout stations positioned along the way. Picnic tables and benches are available for resident use. A playground with swings and jungle gym is provided for younger children, and gentle, rolling landscaping will help generate an atmosphere of peace and spiritual refreshment.
