  The City of Shawnee recognized the need for new soccer, baseball and softball facilities to serve the community. After selection of a site, city planners contacted CLS & Associates to provide a master plan to develop the park while preserving natural site features. Design concepts were presented and cost estimates were prepared for phased development. After approval of the Master Plan, CLS & Associates further developed plans for construction of the first phase of the project, which included four soccer fields, a pond, roads and parking. Construction is scheduled following the completion of land lease agreements.
