  The City of Oklahoma City wanted a gateway to welcome visitors into the City from the Will Rogers World Airport. CLS & Associates assisted in developing plans to enhance the 2-mile corridor by adding native trees and drought tolerant plant material, creating bermed planting beds, new roadway lighting, monument signage and accent paving, with a new irrigation system and water well. A sense of the ‘Oklahoma landscape’ is represented with a design of waves of lush and colorful plant materials that are not only sustainable but create a uniform look throughout. CLS & Associates was the prime consultant, responsible for the design, construction documents and project administration for this four-phased project completed in 2007.
